DESCRIPTION:PARKING \nThere is no on-site visitor parking at Sandy Run Regional Park.  All spectator parking is at South County High School or the Route 123 Commuter Parking lot.  There is a shuttle bus from the parking location to Sandy Run that will cost $15 per person round trip.  South County High School is located at 8501 Silverbrook Rd\, Lorton\, VA 22079. There are regattas this year where the South County Parking lot will not be available.  Parking will be at the commuter parking lot at Old Bridge Road and Rt. 123 \nThere is no fee for onsite parking for the following: \nAthlete Parking: Athletes will park in Loisvale Lot. \nCoaches Parking: Coaches will park in the designated area of D Lot. \nStaff /LOC Parking: B Lot\, second row from the back. \nReferee Parking: B Lot\, back row. \nVolunteer Parking: D Lot. \nHandicapped parking is in the “C” lot.  send an e-mail to assisted.parking@vasra.org to let us know you are coming and that you need assisted parking. \nIf these lots fill\, it will be broadcast on vasra.masto.host (which is replicated on our website) that the lots are full and that people must go to offsite parking. \nThe location to park for the shuttle bus changes based on events happening at South County.  When you enter the parking lot\, look for signs\, the shuttle buses (not school buses) and the parking personnel who will be wearing reflective vests. \nRowers in Uniform can ride the off-site shuttle (both locations) for free. \nVASRA does not make revenue from parking.  In fact\, VASRA loses money on parking.  The parking fees collected are distributed to pay for 1.  Paid parking staff (currently West Springfield Football Boosters) and 2.  Shuttle Buses. \nThere is a shuttle bus from the “C” lot (1st Gravel Lot on the Left after you pass the park gates) to the Finish Line (it is a short walk from there to the Grandstands).  Cost is $5.00 each way. \nPlan for additional travel time\, both from the offsite parking and within the park. Our venue is a superb rowing location\, but not user friendly for large crowds.  \nAll shuttles stop and load with the passenger door adjacent to the woods in the “C” lot.  There are signs indicating where the buses stop.  Please do not wait in the road.  It will prevent all the shuttles from being able to move forward.
